What a nice holiday I've been enjoying.....Nothing to do at home.
No academic books anymore to revise! Huh, campus life is hectic! I wish I was a baby, but this ridiculous dream is impossible indeed! Well, I miss you, friends! I miss my classroom at Puncak which I won't be able to see it anymore, unless on purpose. We'll move to UiTM Shah Alam, the main campus. Well, I'm going to dearly miss my bloody-room at Puncak Perdana Hostel! Here are some pictures of my paradise at Puncak!
"Welcome to my Pink World"
This is my beloved bed.... I've promised Saki to show this picture to her.
This is my corner...
I put my valuable things here! What things? Ha3...flowers and my books.
MY BED...was my regular place to study while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.
This also became my 'dining' slot. I had lunch and dinner here, on this bed...
This is the picture of my previous wardrobe....
I know the person means me.I did not mean to give critiques on him/her. But, the other friend did, and he/she thought I did because I'm talkative. Anyway, I'm sorry. I doesn't hurt me because I adore you so much. I cry time and and again just because you left me far behind without glancing at me anymore....... I never meant to hurt you. And you never made me hurt. WHY?
because of FRIENDSHIPS.......
i LOVE YOU MORE THAN MYSELF.
If one day God takes my breath, the only person I pray for success is you.........
You may hate me for any longer, but I will never vanish my beloved idol from my mind.....
Nippon-Land of the Rising Sun. This is the most interesting programme I have ever joined. It was handled by the final year students of Faculty of Information System. The programme was successfully done to be graded as their final project. Honestly, this is the best among all programmes that had been done previously many times at PTAR (library).
I have gained a lot of useful experiences to be stored permanently in my box of general knowledge. The programme was absolutely resourceful as now I know how to wear a kimono! I know how to make sushi! I know how to do some origami.
Actually, I was here on a day before the programme was held. I could see the crew members were setting up their stuff for today’s occasion. I could see how they dressed up some of the huge dolls with kimono (traditional Japanese dress) and yukata (kimono-like dress during summer). They said, “Tomorrow you can wear this yukata and we take your photo. You just need to pay RM2.00”. Therefore, I could not sleep for the whole night thinking about the yukata. I longed to wear it! I said to myself that I have to come early so that I don’t have to queue up waiting for my turn to take pictures in kimono. Well, I made a brilliant plan!
The day has come! For your information, I intentionally went out from Pronunciation class for a while (not so ‘a while’, it took about 30minutes…ha3) in order to join the programme downstairs, in the library. Yes, Puncak Perdana Library is the only multipurpose library that can be found in the entire world. If there is any occasion like this, they will be using this library as a hall and set up some booths.
Back to the story! I quickly got into the library and registered myself as a guest. Amazing! All the crew members were wearing kimono and yukata (for both men and women). They gave me a small box for locating brooches. It is so cute and dark red in colour. Well, I walked straight away to a corner for photography session. There were two girls there greeting me in kimonos. They asked me to write my name on a piece of paper and I paid them RM2.00. “Here is your yukata”, one of them helped me wearing the dress. This was my very first experience. Although it was only a yukata and not a kimono, I felt satisfied to be able wearing it. The two crew girls said they could not provide kimonos for this photography session because kimono is extremely expensive. So, they were only able to display some kimonos, but not to allow us to wear any. In fact, kimono and yukata are physically alike. Instead the cloth used is different. Hence, kimono is thicker as it is used during winter while yukata is used during summer.
They took my picture in yukata, and the background was a picture of sakura tree with blossoming flowers.
Then, I moved to the next booth. I played a game in which I had to guess one among three bowls, which contained an origami flower. So, I got it right! They gave me a goody gift. Thank you! Then I moved on to the next table. This time, I played catching as many fish as I could in 30 seconds. I suddenly asked a girl who was passing by to play with me. She agreed! We were given a tea filter each. I caught seven golden red fishes while the girl who played with me got four. So, I won a goody gift again! Thank you! After enjoying myself, I went back to my classroom. My classmates asked me where I have been. I simply whispered telling my experiences. Then, some of them suddenly went out without Dr. Azni’s concern. Don’t say that I have influenced my friends to play truant!
Well, this is another story happened during Nippon-Land of the Rising Sun programme. I came again in the evening. I just wanted to get some other goodies. I registered again, but this time, it was my friend’s name. Luckily I remembered all her details, haha! Sorry, Kak Farha. I have used your name to get goodies. Yes, they did give me different goodies. I got another activity coupon, a paper bag, a keychain and another small box for locating brooches. Thank you! I analysed all the booths and things shown there. I was so impressed.
Then, it was a demonstration of preparing sushi. They taught us how to make vegetable sushi. I haven’t thought that making sushi is as easy as ABC. This is the recipe of preparing sushi rice to make sushi. I asked one of the chefs there as I stood exactly in front of him.
HOW TO PREPARE SUSHI RICE TO PUT IN YOUR SUSHI
1) Cook sushi rice (available at any supermarket, eg: Jaya Jusco) like cooking common rice 2) After it is cooked, leave it for 10 minutes before adding a mixture of sugar, vinegar and salt. How to do this mixture? It is easy. Use this measurement, 2:1:1. For example, boil 2 cups of vinegar, 1 cup of sugar and a cup of salt. Then, cool it for some times. 3) Lastly, add the mixture into the rice. Mix them well. 4) Leave the rice for a while so that it will be slightly soft and sticky. Done!
Okay, let’s continue the story! After a century waiting the sushi to be served, the chefs finally served the cute slices of sushi on the table in front of me. They did not put wasabi in the sushi. They took our eager faces first to put on their blog, so less pickles (kurang asam)!
Without any hesitation, I picked a slice of sushi and put into my watering mouth. It was deliciously killing me! I felt like at the end of my life! WASABI???!!! I have not tasted wasabi before! Thanks chefs! You made me literally crazy. I could not feel my nose at all. The fire was burning angrily in my throat and the smokes went slowly out from my nostrils.
There were drops of tears. I walked to the back table. Then the chef who taught us making sushi rice asked me, “how was it?” I honestly replied, “It was terrible. This wasabi is killing me!” Then he laughed out loud! He asked me to try the pickled ginger. Well, I did not trust him anymore. But he said the pickles can vanish the taste of wasabi. That is why wasabi is always served with some wet pickles. Then, he gave me a slice of wet pickled ginger. It looked like ‘kuah murtabak’, pink in colour with slices of ginger. I ate it, no choice!
Wow, what a relief! The taste of wasabi was suddenly wiped out of my tongue. What he said was true. However, I won’t like sushi anyway!!!!
It is a pleasant day with a bright friendly sun. I went to PKNS with Toon after ISD class. We went there holding a simple aim to buy a movie. Actually, we are assigned to do an assignment on bilingualism. All we need is studying on a movie which has elements of bilingualism. That means there must be two languages used by some actors in the movie. Firstly, we headed to nowhere. But then, we dropped at a shop that sells CDs. We straight away looked at some CDs there. The salesgirl was so warm. I know this girl as I always come here with my other friend. I already know she is like that, like a box of ‘basi’ Sunsweet. Sunsweet is even much sweeter. So, that salesgirl was like a box of ‘basi asam boy’. She smiled, but she was pretending. I could read her face. After searching and having a discussion with the salesgirl, we chose a VCD entitled Escape from Huang Shi. Then, we moved to SACC Mall, I wanted to go to Giant Supermarket. At Giant, I did not know what to buy. Then, I bought a food container and a bed mattress. It is very nice! I could not manage to buy pink bed mattress.
GIANT.......this is a place where I can leave my burdens. But, sometimes I change my direction to Pasar Tani at Section 13 behind Giant Hypermarket. I love this place. Lots of people are moving around, without stopping.
Well, it's fun to see many kinds of people. This is also a place to do some observations on how various people behave. In addition, there's a lot of things to feed me my eyes. Seriously, a myriad of foods there are absolutely appealing. I love nasi ayam goreng there (fried chicken with rice).
and pizza there is exteremly delicious! I'm going to die without that pizza once I go there! It is only RM2.50 per piece. It is enough to fill in the empty space of my belly. (I got a story about this pizza. I'll tell you later in the next post. I'm having a class right now.)
Honestly, some foods are costly....I only manage to glance at those foods via the edge of my two half-bubble eyes.
Well, everyday of my life gives me a story to share. Whether it is interesting or awful, I don't mind.
Words are emotions. Words are expressions. Words are evaluations. Words are explanations.
I have not been blogging since centuries. Yes, this is regularly my famous statement lately. There's a lot of work to be done. Seriously, I don't know which one is the best I should do. Well, let's talk about today's topic!
Regarding what Fatin has witten in her blog a few days ago.........I pity on her, so much. But I pity on myself more! Honestly, I just managed to see the cover of that past year test paper. Thank you, Alia, for giving me the precious two minutes to glance at the test paper. Frankly, she has tried her best to show the paper to everybody she knows. But, how could she? If I were her, I could not do that. She was not able to walk around to find all her friends. Well, thanks. Unfortunately, I couldn't remeber a single word from the test paper to be adapted during the real test, because I just saw the cover. Huh!!!! Pity on me!
Well, I have learnt many things this year. I can't stand on someone's feet anymore. I need to be much more independent than I used to be previously.......
But, friends, you are my strenght.....I will always put my chin on your shoulders.....If only you gave me a chance to do it. However, rarely people do........ I love you guys!
"You raise me up...so I can stand on my own..... You raise me up to work on all my dreams.... You've raised me up.....to more than I could be"
Strawberry is now my passionate fruit. I love its smell, regardless its sour taste.
The smell makes me crazy for the whole day. It is formidable to pull my eyes out from the sockets. Well, the taste is not as wonderful as its smell. Unless, it is associated in a cornucopia of crave delights such as yogurts, sweets, ice creams and jams. To eat strawberries straight away is not my desire. It is just like a saying, "DON'T JUDGE BOOK BY ITS COVER". Its physical look is extraordinarily enchanting and easily can attract anybody who wants to feel the moon-struck pleasant things in life.
However, the taste -sometimes- kills our appetite of even glancing at any other food in this galaxy. What an atrocious type of strawberry we have here! Becasue strawberries are toooooooo beautiful!!!
Today’s class was the most interesting class ever, so far. We did quite a good job as we went along the lesson. We were working on ‘How to Solve Hard Disk Problem’ using problem based learning style of studying. Honestly, searching the right information was totally difficult. We need to know the exact term to search through Google Search Engine.
After one hour struggling with information, Dr. Othman -an instructor- came to our class to lead the PBL session. We were divided into three groups. Each group was given an internal hard disk which was already taken out from computers. Any of the three hard disks has a file we wanted. However, we had to figure out how to connect it to connect it to computer so that we could read the file. I was together with Hasinah, Masitah, Alzahari, Hafiz, Tun and Khairil. We were working with a great full of cooperation in doing the task. The task was given three weeks ago. We had actually spent a lot of time at home in finding about ‘how to solve crash hard disk problem’. I had asked my uncle who is expert in computer. He said I only needed USB 2.0 to IDE Cable to connect an internal hard disk to a computer.
The question-answer session began. I was assigned to ask Dr. Othman about USB 2.0 to IDE Cable. I was so confident that the cable was the right cable to use. As I broke the ice, Dr. Othman gave me the cable in a great astonishment. He said I am the first student ever to could get the tool with a very first question. My question was, “Dr. Othman, can I have USB 2.0 to IDE cable?” Then he said yes and gave me the tool I wanted. My group was so happy. The other group asked for 4 pin to P4 Female and they got it right. It was actually the power source we needed. We could not work with merely USB 2.0 to IDE with any power supply. Finally, we did all together, combining the three groups to be a great team. We got another tool which was the CD driver to be able to read the hard disk.
As the time was up, we had to continue searching for the file next week. In a nutshell, we have done a quite good job in the sense of working a big team.
I have not been blogging since centuries....I realize that. Well, I have nothing much to say! But...the only reason is.....I have a lot of assignments to be done. First thing first....I would like to officially declare my enormous apology to Alzahari, our oldest brother in class. Well, bro...I know you won't easily get fractious. What a terrible vitriol I have done.
THE STORY BEGAN........
5th of January 2009
One day, a few students of our class were doing assignments together in class. Well, i felt like excusing myself. I was too dog-tired after completing my misarable work. So and so..... I wanted to go to Kandang (the only paradise we can buy a cornucopia of things). Ayie (Alzahari) asked me to buy "teh 'o' Beng kurang manis. Yes, a glass of cool tea- less sugar. So, I walked to Kandang as he gave me two syillings of 50 cents. Okay! **************************************************** "Here I am!!"
I came back with a plastic of tea. Honestly, I forgot to tell the mamak (a guy who made Ayie's tea) that the tea must be concisely less sweet.... Hahahahaha...... The tea was sweet....as usual. No difference at all!
To my horror, I forgot to take a straw....
I WAS DEVIANT....I KNOW....
Well, who asks that mamak to not give the straw as well? How did I know where the sengal straw was! It was not my stall!!!
So, dear my big brother Ayie.....
This is not the end of the world........ Don't feel anomaly without a straw. Chaiyok! We can still have a drink without a straw. Similar to....Tea can still show its taste without any straw to slurp..............

TODAY IS MY SISTER'S BIRTHDAY (8th OF February 2009)
She is 21 years old at this moment...... May all your wishes come true."Although we are apart, you can celebrate it with your friends at UIA".
She is the only older sister I have.... I wonder what I should buy for her this year... She gave me a white bag with a picture of golden Mickey's head on it, for my last birthday. It is too big, I can even put a baby black elephant in it! That means, I need to buy something alike as a revenge.....
I have been thinking of buying perfumes, but she has many already. Should I buy something luxurious? No, my pocket money is not enough to buy her a Mercedes. Well, how about a baby black elephant? At least I can put it into my bag you gave me. "You may take it from National Zoo, no need to buy...." :-P
Everybody was bloody excited to go to Kula Lumpur for free! We, LGB 2A, were invited to attend a ‘majlis kebudayaan’ somewhere in KL. Well, we did not intend to know further about the destination and purpose. All we knew was “we aregoing to have a free merry ride to KL”. Surely, a bus would be provided…..hurm….
The bus was coming!!! Hooray!!! We were waiting for it with a mountain of patience.
Suddenly, Kak Hanis, the big boss of this journey came with her gloomy red face.
“What’s up?”
“Where is the bus you promised?”
“Is the invitation still valid?”
“Are we really going to KL?”
“I have dressed amazingly and don’t tell me the trip is cancelled!”
These were the questions thrown to Kak Hanis.
“Sorry, it is cancelled”.
AAAArrghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What an embarrassment! I did not want to walk back home. What would my housemates say? I would be the laughing stock for the rest of my life!!! The others thought the same.
This was not a statement we waited for! Well, life is all about ups and downs. Every cloud has a silver lining. This could not break our strength of having a fieldtrip.Who cares about the trip to KL anymore? We have other places to go by using our
beloved Rapid KL lah!!!! Who cares???!!! We are
independent!!! In life, there is always a plan B…..
We ended up by switching our mind to “ajourney to Plaza Alam Sentral”.
Here we began!
Alia, Tun, C-Nah, Masitah, Farha, Ain Jannah, Malia, Lat, Azwan, Azrina and me.
We all eleven were waiting for a bus……
Suddenly, Masitah changed her mind and chose to disjoin the group. She has a meeting to attend tonight, the same meeting as Alia has. We were all ten.
After a while, Latfi – our class captain – was surrender. He was too lazy to wait for anymore second. He assumed that the bus wouldn’t be coming. Then he left us after saying “take care”.
Then, Azwan forcefully followed him. Oh, dear! How could you all give up before going to battle?
I also planned to give up. But Tun and Ain wanted to go. Malia said, “I will wait until 7.30 p.m. only”
However, in returns of our great patience, here the bus came! UiTM bus. It was already 7.20 p.m. after waiting for a half century. “Here we go!”
Azrina had done a stunt in the bus. The bus was terribly shaking and so she almost fell down while we were taking pictures. I presume that she might be too excited to be in the picture.
We arrived at PKNS in thirty minutes later. It was already dark.
The first place we headed to was surau. It was already maghrib time.
After that, we continued our journey to Plaza Alam Sentral, which is located behind PKNS.
“Here we are!”
The place was jovially greeting us as it knew that we chose it instead of Kuala Lumpur.
Wedropped at Speedy to look for CDs. Actually; I was the person who promoted them to go there. I wanted to buy a CD. But it is sold in a set of 3 CDs, for RM10.00. It was stock clearance. I wanted one CD only. So, I persuaded Latfi and Hasinah to buy another two CDs, so that I could have one out of three; with a great price of RM3.33 per CD. Hahaha…..then we bought three CDs and each of us got one. What an amazing pleasure of having friends! People say; “united we strong, divided we weak”.
Do you know what kind of CD we bought? This is my CD. Have a look!
Let’s go back to the story. Our stomachs were all singing rock and roll. The journey made us starving. Well, we found a restaurant. I forgot its name, but it is exactly located in front of Bee’s, a bakery. You can see the bakery as you walk into Plaza Alam Sentral using the main entrance, next to Dunkin Donuts. Am I making myself clear? Yes, isn’t it?
Well, we were like a jakun group of kids who were having an outing for the first time. (And surely, the kids are from a sort kindergarten in a secret jungle, in Amazon. Or, they might be from other world in another galaxy).
We sat at one of a pleasant corner. At the moment, Malia and Ain went to ATM machine, withdrawing some money (Unfortunately, both of them refused to treat us). Three tables were combined as we were ten all together. There were no other people in the restaurant. However, it seemed like there were myriad Orang Utan kids in the restaurant. I did not know what we were talking about. What a noisy place, the restaurant became!
To my horror, the foods we ordered were deliciously expensive. I think, the pans we used were all imported from Italy. They served our food in several little pans. Wow! “I don’t think I like it”.
They were all movable! We had to hold the ear of the pans, so we could eat our food. They were making our meals terrible and hard to eat. Overall, the foods were appealing. Except for C-nah’s wantan mee. Hahaha….it wasn’t tasty at all! Pity her.
At the same time, we took photographs again and again. Azwan’s face forcefully made us practicing yoga laughter, which was presented by Farha in class, last semester. He looked innocent on all the pictures.
The most unforgettable experience was always on my side. Yes, it was an embarrassing moment indeed. To begin with, I went to the cashier. I have RM90.00 in my hand. We used Alia’s and C-Nah’s money first. Well, the cashier took a long time to count the bill. Never mind, I waited. Then the bill popped out on the screen. It was RM119.53. The money was obviously not enough. Then I took RM20 from C-Nah, assuming that it would be enough. To my embarrassment, the cashier said I needed another RM10. I was not a good Mathematician at the moment. Poor me! Then I went back again to our table and took RM10 note from Lat. “Here I go!”….. It was settled!
Then, we rushed to PKNS bus stop. We were looking for T605. After waiting for decades, we crossed the road and took a bus from the other roadside. We went to Section 2 (bus station) and stayed in the same bus. While waiting for the bus to move and take us home, we took some pictures again! What a happy family!
The bus moved. We went back to Perdana Heights Hostel, keeping a lot of memories in our heart. We arrived exactly at 11.00 o’clock. We happily walked in with a plenty of stories to remember……..
I went to Giant - a place I like most - this evening. I went alone, as usual.
Sometimes, we need space for ourselves to think, fly and recap the useless holes in the past. Well, I bought nothing but some bottles of mineral water, filamen (crab) sticks, and cakes. I bought two pieces of Secret Recipe cakes. Chocolate Indulgence and New York Cheese. The taste was as equally nice as the look.
