Happy Mother's Day

It's 15 March 2015...
Spring is here!!!
Flowers are everywhere...
and nice smell is here and there...

No matter what date it is, mothers are great superwomen
to be remembered everyday....
Whether it is in March or May, mothers are MOTHERS everyday.

and so I bought this DKNY bag for my mother.

I sent the picture through whatsapp to wish her.
"Happy Mother's Day! Thank you for being such a wonderful mother a person can have"

She replied:
"Comel beg tu. Tq very much my beloved princess. You are wonderful"

with her selfie picture at that moment

Cheers!

King crabs

I wish I could buy these crabs.
But the price seems too expensive
when I keep converting into Malaysian Ringgit
which I am not supposed to do!

E.g.: That  £5.00 crab is equal to RM28.00.

Never mind. I will buy it next time.
***crying with bloody tears....

See the lobster too!

Lokching in the UK

This is my first attempt of making lokching / sate ikan (fish satay).
I referred to a few recipes on Google...
I used two tins of tuna flakes (185gm x 2).
Unfortunately, it didn't turn out well
because I accidentally poured too much water in the batter.
So, I had to use more tapioca flour.

But the tapioca flour that I bought was not enough,
so I decided to add wheat flour instead.
The batter turned into a weird mixture.....

I turned the batter into countless tiny little balls...
and fried them on pan, with some olive oil.
Then, I stuck them with bamboo sticks.
They were grilled before serving.

DONE

The sauce was weird too.
I used maize (corn) flour, instead of tapioca flour.
The sauce became a jelly or pudding kind of thing.

Above all, they were not that bad, edible....Thank GOD.
