Food to soothe dengue fever

I was admitted to hospital with dengue fever last year.

It didn't last long for I was taken care at home...with ubat nyamuk everywhere nearby.

My parents put a lot of effective efforts by forcing me to eat the following items:

(1) Fresh water crab (ketam nipah/batu)

I ate fresh water crabs everyday when I was suffering from dengue fever last year.

Try Maggi Ketam too...it's delicious!

(2) Dragon fruit (Buah naga)
The red flesh dragon fruits is better than the white. I don't know whether this has been scientifically proven, but indeed, the red one is always tastier and sweeter than the white.

(3) Pomegranate (Buah delima)
As we know, all parts of a pomegranate tree can be fully utilized to make medicine for centuries.

Note:

Old folks say, these are good to cure dengue fever.

Forbidden Palace

I have been watching Disney Mulan (1998) since I was a little girl. The cartoon movie has really left a big impact on my life. It's inspiring main character (a girl named Mulan) has made me to dream to visit Beijing, China. I can vividly remember the moment Mulan is standing in the eyes of China. She is respected by all for bringing her family honour and the Country's pride. The ceremony is held in the Forbidden City with so many staircases excessively illustrated in the cartoon movie. From the first moment I watched the movie in 2000, I started to think of the place and wished to be there someday. Little did I know that I would be in the Forbidden City twelve years later on my very own feet.

These are rooms for the 'wives' of King.

This picture might look sunny to you, but it was actually deadly cold at that time (-12'C).

Below is the mini-bus which carries passengers to the Forbidden City.

During winter, it will be too cold to walk there from the main entrance.

So, you won't mind to pay a little for the ride, absolutely.

Mission accomplished!!

My IELTS PLAN and COST

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST to sit for the IELTS?

International English Language Testing System

The list below shows how much I have/am going to spent for IELTS which will be held in a few days ahead.

Details:
**British Council IELTS, payment transmitted via MasterCard
**I am going there with a friend (We'll travel from Kota Bharu)
**Speaking Test : 17/12/2013 (Tuesday)
**Writing/Reading/Listening: 21/12/2013 (Saturday)
**Exam Venue: Corus Hotel KL, next to KLCC.
**on 17-19Dec, we'll be staying at our friend's house.

COST = RM1, 169.03 (per person)

So far, I have spent RM1,155.83 already, excluding LRT Kelana Jaya line to KLCCstation (RM1.60 one way) and Transit Bus fee from KLSentral to LCCT which must be paid upon arrival. This is excluding meals and other additional logistics for 3-night-stay at my friend's house in Shah Alam on 17Dec, right after the Speaking Test.
