Breakfast - Sandwich Burger + Hamlet

29/10/10 Friday Morning

Tomorrow is my first final exam paper, Economics. I woke up early as usual, but a little earlier actually; 5.30 a.m. Preparing for subuh prayer then I slept again! Hahaha....sharp at 9.00 a.m. I woke up, taking a pleasant bath. Next?!! I prepared my breakfast!!!

Sandwich Burger
1. Two slices of bread
2. 1 egg (stir well + a pinch of salt)
3. A slice of chicken burger
4. Chili sauce

How to prepare it?
1. Dip the bread in the well-stirred egg.
2. Fry and toss on a tissue to absorb the oil.
3. Then, fry the burger. (use margarine instead of oil)
4. Toss on a tissue paper to absorb the remaining oil.
5. Apply chili sauce on the fried burger. (using your finger, then you may lick the remaining chili sauce! Yummy!) *don't forget to wash your hand first!
6. Lastly, arrange them (bread and burger) as a sandwich.
7. You may slice the sandwich into four pieces...so it'll be cutely easy to eat!
8. Serve it with a cup of hot tea! It would be a wonderful breakfast ever!!!

for Hamlet
*Repeat the same steps as to prepare sandwich burger.
*You don't need chili sauce and burger anymore.
*You just have to spread kaya cream on both slices of bread.
*Make it as sandwich! Ready to serve with a cup of tea or coffee!

Women in men's world....

A woman is a part of a man's life, but a man is a life of a woman's world.

people say: "Di sebalik kejayaan seorang lelaki, ada wanita di belakangnya" [Meaning, there must be a woman who supports every man's success]. INDEED!!!

But someone told me one day: "To me, di sebalik kejayaan saya nanti, ada wanita di depan saya".... [Meaning, there is a woman in front of me who supports me to succeed]. I thought he's very funny saying that. I thought, he simply manipulated the sentence. But then, as I realized, he's wonderful to say that. The pragmatics here is, he appreciates a woman of his more than he appreciates himself. And I pray for their happiness..May God SWT bless both of you! =) He doesn't place his woman behind, but in front.

Wait a second! Another point of view is..hehe *I always have a counter argument to each premise I give*

Another point of view is....the woman leads his life. Maybe, she supports him financially, or something like that. That's why she stands in front of him, instead of standing behind him..hehe.

A woman is a part of a man's life, but a man is a life of a woman's world. Is that so??!! Yes, that's what people normally say. However, there must be quite a number who put women in front, I'm so certain. The article below has opened my eyes and mind. There are men who consider "a woman is a life of my world". Well, I can't be so sure because a man might have many lives in his world...hahaha. Indeed!!! A life as a son, a life as a businessman, a life as a worker, a life as a father, a life as a...bla..bla..bla... So I'm waiting for a group that say "A woman is the best life that I've ever had".

WANITA DARI KACAMATA LELAKI

by Johari Alfa on Friday, 22 October 2010 at 17:37

Seorang lelaki balik rumah.. Dia jadi heran gler halaman umah berselerak, surat kat peti pos tak berambil, anak-anak tengah main korek-korek tanah kotor, baju compang-camping, penuh dengan tanah dan kotoran, rambut tak bersikat, tak bermandi.. Masuk ke pintu rumah lagi lelaki tu terkejut. Ruang tamu lagi teruk berselerak. Lelaki tu melaung nama isterinya.. Sepi tiada jawapan.

Itu mungkin one of da reason why anak-anak tak berapa takut and at times, hanya memekakkan telinga setiap kali ibu member “ceramah percuma”. Mungkin anak-anak tak terasa kehilangan or boleh jadi melompat keriangan bila ibu takde kt uma (for instance if he’s gone for a short holiday)

Budak-budak zaman sekarang ramai kawan, banyak caranya mereka mengisi waktu. They will go for movies, clubbing, or most to most lepak kat tempat yang happening. As for me is different, if my wife is not at home, rumah boleh jadik porak peranda. Memang betul, jika isteri ada kat umah, kepala selalu pening. Pantang kalo isteri ada kat umah and I’m off duty, sure at times boleh membuat kepala serabut.

Kalau madam takde kat umah, alangkah tenteramnya hidup ini. Boleh buat ape yang kita suka. Boleh belengkar kat depan TV tanpa sebarang gangguan mental dan fizkal. Pendek kata, FreeDoMmmmmlah!! But hairan bin ajaib, when dia betul-betul pergi meaning “She’s Gone”’ aku plak trasa separuh mati. Sehari dua memanglah shiokkk, no one shouting from the kitchen for help, no one to komen this and that, no one to criticize. Everything will be smooth… Tp masuk hari ketige, I felt something missing. Lebih-lebih lagi bila tuala mandi dah berbau ‘asshemmmm’, tak tau la mana nak cari yang baru. Colgate da nak abis, tak tau kat mana dia stock up. Air suam da habis, malas nk boil… Masuk hari keempat, rindu mula terasa.

Eventhough kat office, ramai yang cun melecun, wajahnya yang ditatap sejak dari tarikh menikah itu juga yang mengetuk pintu hati. Memanglah dia tak se-cun SITI NURHALIZA but the smile yang ikhlas, forever melekat kat ati and sukar ada pengganti.

Apabila rindu mencengkam, semuanya jadi tak tentu arah. Tengok TV citer best pon jadi tak best. Nasik bungkus feberite jadik tak feberite. Makan kat 5 star hotel jadik rasa macam makan kat kedai AA. Lebih-lebih lagi bila laundry basket da makin bertimbun ngan baju kotor, fresh sluar dalam pun dah habis ntuk dipakai. Toilet dah mula licin berdaki.. Lantai dah berbelak, tak dimop.. Every nite, very the lonely, baring atas katil nengok ceiling blindly.. bila lonely gini, baru lah rasa benar kesepian.

Jangan kata sebulan atau setahun, belum seminggu isteri takde kat umah, aku dah rasa separuh pengsan. Masa ni barulah sedar netapa pentingnya seorang wanita bernama isteri… So guys out there.. jgn buli isteri kite. Kalau boleh, tolong dia buat kerja rumah. Bukan dok depan TV every weekend baca paper. Apa ingat dia tu kuli ker?! Maid ker?!! Kan dia tu bini kita, best fren kita, sweetheart kita.. Ingat duit hantaran yang kita kasik dia masa nikah dulu cukup ker nak bayar gaji dia seumur hidup???!

And furthermore, kan sama2 kerja carik rezeki, sama jugak lah buat kerja rumah. Kadang2 bila poket kita sesak, tak ingat ker dialah orang yang paling dekat terdekat kita nak kenyeng-kenyeng duit. Tak kesian ker nengok bini kita? Dah la satu hari keja kat office, balik pulak kena buat kerja rumah lagi… penat tau! Kalaulah aku diberi peluang jadik seorang wanita,… tak rela!!! So to all mums and wives out there, live will be meaningless without You mothers. Uwaaaaaaa!!

“Ibu, ibu… engkaulah ratu hati ku…”

Bagaimana rasanya sehari tanpa ibu? Tak tau lah budak-budak zaman sekarang tp mse kcik, kalo mak takde, sumanya serba tak kena! Jgnkn seminggu, dua hari je dia takde kt uma, hidup mcm da tak bermakna. Memangla, mse mula-mula mak kuar umah, hati melonjak HAPPINESS!! Kalo mak takde, telinga boleh lega sebab if she’s around, for sure 24 hours tak habis-habis berleter…. Pooott peeett. Pooottt, peeett, boleh pecah eardrums. And if mak menjerit , boleh bergegar isi perut. Silap gaya, tingkap jendela tu pon ley tercabut. And if mak takde, Bangzaii!! Merdeka!!! Can do whatever!!!!

Boleh main galah pnjg smpai senja, boleh tgk tv smpai nk kua bijik mata, boleh monteng ngaji, boleh bergayut kt tepon lme2, n plg shiokk, boleh ponteng solat!!

But, the happiness does not long last. Masuk hari kedua dah terasa kehilangan. Sepi betul rasanya bila tak mendengar leteran mak. Rumah jadi sunyi sepi mcm “haunted village”. Pada ketika itulah kite sedar bahawa leteran mak yang seperti murai, sebenarnya penyeri rumah. Tanpa leteran itu, semuanya seperti MATI..

Without mum, hidup ni takde cabaran, no challenging, no suspense. Balik kul brape pon takde orang nak membebel, takde orang nak pulas telinga. Then we realized, jari jemari mak yang suka cubit dan memiat telinga itu la rupanya menjadikan hidup lebih bermakna. Pendek kata, biarlah mak membebel sepanjang hari. Tanpanya, hidup tidak berseri dan bererti. Demikianlah besarnya erti seorang EMAK, IBU, UMMI, MUMMY, MAMA in our life!!

SAYANGI LA KAUM PEREMPUAN KERANA TANPA MEREKA ANDA KEHILANGAN SESUATU..

HARGAI MEREKA!!!!!

Ice-Skating for the 1st time...

22 October 2010 Happy Birthday Ravern!!

This is one of the days I've enjoyed most in my life. Kak Tira fetched Ravern and I up to Sunway Pyramid. Oh, not yet! We enjoyed Mamak food first at Section 7..haha. I had two delicious roti canai, common roti canai and roti Planta. Super duper tasty and marvellous as I'd been craving for it since ages.

We headed to Sunway Pyramid and started ice-skating at 5.30 p.m. sharp as the gate opened. Actually, I didn't want to join Kak Tira and Ravern. My only reason was, "I never play roller-blade. How am I supposed to try that bloody ice-skating!"

I can vividly remember when the first time roller-blade was first introduced to our country (I mean, one particular year that it suddenly became famous). It was around 1995-1997 I guess. I didn't even get to school yet those days, perhaps kindergarten.

One day, my father took my big brother, my older sister and I to a supermarket. The only goal going there was buying us roller-blades. For sure, at my age that time, I didn't even know how to use it. Well, at least I know how it is supposed to be used/played. We'd seen it on TV. Oh, dear! Advertisers are guineas!

My father bought two roller-blades. The green was for my brother and another pink was chosen for my sister. I asked, "where's mine?" But the answer is, "You are too young to play mainan orang besar". Before I could even turn into a lioness, he quickly took my hand to animal stuff and dolls section. I became blind. He chose me one big teddy-bear. It is hazel brown. That was the first big animal stuff in my life. From that moment, I love girl stuff and never dare to try any of boy's stuff. Poor me! Don't blame me 100% why I'm still collecting those animal stuff. Stop questioning why. Because I was brought up that way, to love those things.

Oh! Back to the story!!! Where was I? Oh, I said I didn't want to join Ravern and Tira. I just stood outside and watched them both from far. I was a photographer that day, until Ravern changed her mind. She said ice-skating was disastrous to her and I had to replace her. Yeah, paying RM13.00 for only one round, it would be wasteful..certainly. So I took her tag off and wore. To go in, we have to wear an arm-tag, as sign that you have paid the fee. But of course I didn't! Hahaha....then I tried the shoes. Ravern's size was 34, I had to change the shoes.

"Abang, tadi silap ukur la...saya sebenarnya kena pakai saiz 35", dengan selamba badak dan tak malunya I went to the counter.

[Sir, you've measured my shoe size wrongly...actually 35 would be better for me", I said shamelessly]

Yes! Mission achieved. So I went into the ice-skating court confidently. I never fell down but was walking like a newborn kitten. At least, I'd successfully completed one round of the court! Well, it is a personal accomplishment as I've never tried things like this, even a roller blade.

Well done! Sunway Pyramid Ice...I'll be here again!!

* Oh, the poor thing happened was, Ravern lost her glasses. Haha..Happy birthday..May Allah SWT bless you and bring you prosperity to buy new and trendy glasses!!

Gucci ate all her pups!!!

Gucci got pregnant for exactly 16 days, starting 1/8/2010...normal for a Golden hamster.

Then, she ate all her pups as soon as her first litter - 16/8/2010. Funny! I knew she would. That was her first litter, she ate her pups due to inexperienced and anxiety. I don't know how many all together, but I'm pretty sure that they were ten pups or even more. And she ate all..haha. This is what we call 'infanticide'. It's common! I wonder why she didn't leave one, at least! Terrible hamster!

I saw her pups for a quite some time, before she finished child-birthing and killed the pups. Huh!
Her pups were as big as peas, or peanuts.

Gucci was sick weeks ago, days before she got pregnant. Her eyes were bleeding and she seemed very hurt. She jumped and bounced from and to nowhere. Amazingly she has recovered. Very soon! It took only two - three days, without bringing her to veterinary center.

Gucci always sleeps upside down....this is her hobby!
I give her vitamin daily....enough food as well. Don't worry! I spray her (using hamster shampoo) every two days..she is odorless, I'm sure! The cage is well maintained. The bathing sand smells jasmine. She now lives alone in her cage. Micci (her spouse) lives in another cage.
Well, pray for their health okay!

I love princess-like stuff!!

Siten (my pink squirrel) has her own tiara now!
I announce her "Princess Siten"....hehe. I bought the tiara for only RM5.00 at Hot Market Plaza Alam Sentral Shah Alam (6/8/2010). Very cheap!

Then, I bought two pairs of new shoes.... Hmm?!! Are they really shoes? Can they be fitted? They are just adorable...so I purchased for no reasons. The baby shoes are soooo cute! I couldn't stop myself taking them... At least, one of them has become my mobile phone holder...

Yesterday (10/8/2010) I was craving for 5-layer-choc cheese cake but hardly found it. So, I had to replace it by consuming Oreo Cheeze and Chocolate Cheese from Secret Recipe. How frustrating! Never mind... Those were just enough. I'm not craving for any cheese cake anymore!

The end!!!

"Power Muffins"

5/8/2010 Thursday 8.45 p.m. - 11.20 p.m.

I suddenly felt like eating cakes... So I decided to bake one. But at the end, I ended up by having muffins, since I didn't have enough equipment to prepare a cake. I used anything I could. I didn't prepare for this, so there were a few ingredients missing.
STEP 1:
To toss the flour, I used the tea filter..he3

STEP 2:
I didn't have cocoa powder, so I used Pearl Choco Kacip Fatimah 3 in 1 and Neslo 3 in 1..... I had no choice..haha. That why I called the muffins "Power Muffins".
STEP 3:

This my little rice cooker....now has become multipurpose because of me.

STEP 4:
There were only 3 - 4 muffins could be steamed at once.

STEP 5:
Ready to serve...after 8-10 minutes of steaming.

They don't look appealing at all..haha. But they deserved to be called muffins.

The winner among all muffins that night.....

I'm planning to serve them to my classmates tomorrow!!! Enjoy!

Meet Marie!

4/8/2010 Wednesday
MARIE

This is Marie, my new companion. She's a gently white female cat.

Huhu... I bought it at Dataran Cendekia UiTM Shah Alam this afternoon... I went there to responce to my tummy's request, asking for food. Well, I didn't mean to buy Marie too...I always drop by a kiosk that sells dolls and collectibles there. After having a great glance, I felt like falling in love with little Marie (Marie comes in three sizes, Small-RM12, Medium-RM25 and Large-RM49.90. At the end, I ended up buying the large Marie....it's so adorable with her only eye opens!
I had a class to catch. Since I had to take a bus for the class, how many eyes would look at me carrying Marie to class? Nobody brings a doll to class, unless this university is meant for kindergarten kids.
So, before I left the kiosk..I asked the salesgirl to put Marie in a nontransparent plastic bag. Huhu....she didn't have any but a rubbish bag. Nevermind, anything would do to hide what I would be carrying...
As I arrived, I put Marie under my chair...nobody noticed. Suddenly one of my friends [Hasinah] asked, "Beli teddy-bear ape?" [What kind of animal stuff did you buy?]...huhu.
How did she know what I bought?
She had a great instint, I guess! haha.... She had a lucky guess on what I was carrying in the nontransparent plastic bag. Huhu....marvellous!
huhu...I you notice, a pink squirrel [terpenyek bawah Marie..haha] in the picture was given by her (Sinah) and another friend (Faten). That's why I named it 'Siten'..hahaha. The names have been perfectly combined, right? Easy to pronounce and catchy!
Since Marie is a cat, I'm afraid that Black [a rat] will always play hide and seek..haha.
Well, I love my collectibles equally! No matter which one comes first.....

I'm doing very well...??

2/8/2010 Monday

Dr.Azni was having a discussion with 3 students at APB. She suddenly stopped me and asked, "How are you doing?". I was in hurry and truly wanted to escape to do some work. Then I answered, "Since I'm Part 5, I'm doing very well". She laughed and I hold her hands gigling and asking back, "Can I answer that?". She laughed and said.."Sure..sure you can". Then I left her, 'proudly' as a Part 5 student.

p/s: [PROUD la sangat!!! Penat kot to reach this level...mcm2 perit jerih dilalui..uhuk2. Zaman2 hingusan yg 'membanggakan'...]

IKEA & New stuff for my hamsters!!!

30/7/2010 Friday
I've been here many times already...but this is the first time I went leisurely there with my friends. We were five all together (Hafiz, Noraini, Alia, Wan and I). Well, it wasn't for leisure at all. We have a 15-to-20-page-assignment to complete (Retailing subject - minor code)...haha. Instead of visiting, we were shopping some IKEA stuff. The things captured our eyes and brought about the lost of money..haha. Yeah, because we needed to pay for the stuff taken! For sure! Huhu...
Above picture:
Azwan and Kak Alia are searching for mini plants. Then he bought two plants and two empty porcelain pots.
Below picture:
Hafiz is holding a mini plant which Azwan then bought..Very nice display! I like!Above: Kak Ain is showing 'peace'....

After that, we went to IKEA Mall, level 3. Guess what?! There is "Pet Lovers Center"!!!! It made me crazy! There were countless cute hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and my dream guinea pigs! Hahaha...I saw chinchillas as well...RM320 for one! Sorry that I couldn't capture any photos...we were not allowed to use cameras inside! There were also adorable puppies...pity ones! Huhu....

Surely, I bought something for my hamsters at home. I took 1 kg sand bathing (strawberry scented) - RM14.90, a bottle of multi-vitamin - RM5.80 and a bell-ball - RM1.50.

I went home in a very cheerful mood. I cleaned Gucci and Micci's cage straight away! They seemed really happy with their new strawberry scented bathing sand. I put several drops of vitamin according to the instruction stated on the bottle...don't worry! You know what? The next day (31/7/2010), I saw them mating. Hahaha...it's a good moment! They will possibly get pups soon. I read articles about hamsters (Micci and Gucci are Golden hamsters or Syrian Hamsters) on the internet.

<!--[if gte mso 9]> Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE AR-SA MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 "Hamsters are seasonal breeders. Breeding season is from April to October in the northern hemisphere, with two to five litters of 1 to 13 young being born after a gestation period of 16 to 23 days. Gestation lasts 16 to 18 days for Syrian hamsters.

Golden hamster females are also very aggressive toward male hamsters and must be separated immediately after breeding in order to prevent an attack. Female hamsters are also particularly sensitive to disturbances while giving birth and may even eat her own young if she thinks they are in danger, although sometimes she is just carrying the pups in her cheek pouches.

It should also be noted that if a captive hamster is left for extended periods (3–4 weeks and more) with her litter, there is a high possibility that she will cannibalize the litter. It is therefore imperative that the litter be split up by the time the young can collect their own food and water." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamster)

Wow! I was really surprised! I am now eager to know what will happen in 16 days time! Don't worry, I'll update that later!
